An artist, an architect and psychologist practitioner NLP. She finished the University of Architecture and Urbanism (Romania 1975) with a major in design and art history, followed by a diversity of art workshops and masters in photography, fashion, textile, glass (1995-2006). She also graduated the Mind & Body training (2003) and (NLP) Neuro-linguistic programming Academy (2004). Due to her triple orientation as an artist, an architect and a psychologist, these determined her to have a special interest for art’s boundaries, where the realm of art meets craft and social reality.

Maria Uzoni the artist sees the creation as a growing process: an artwork is based on the experiences of a previous artwork, a colour gains charm through overlapping with another colour. The stratification can be seen with accuracy in monumental watercolours (from figurative style to the abstract). The theme of the last exhibit was ‘A Journey through the Layers of the Internal Emotions’. To bring the consciousness of these internal emotional layers to an artistic creation has a liberating magic effect towards of an individual or a group. That condenses the accumulations of the information in a personal package. It actually liberates the internal spiritual space; it leads to serenity and to findings of new, creative energies.

Maria Uzoni the architect has a sensibility of space perception, which comes from the psychological studies. The external space is a continuance of our internal space. The combination between the emotional artistic addition, and the vision of long term thinking, generates, from her architectural ideas, a unique creation (product).

The participation in various interdisciplinary exhibitions, the international cultural exchanges and the environmental architectural projects, developed Maria Uzoni’s project organisation skills used in organisational development and also developed her NLP training skills. The idea of these projects is to provide the devices and the necessary intervention in times of crisis or creation drop or to cure the reactions provoked by radical changes inside organisations, social networks, family or individuals.

Through her natural qualities: compassion and intuition and through her artistic intelligence, Maria Uzoni creates the base of projects with people who can not distinguish, feel, or understand the connections that appear in a creative process using PhotoTherapy & NLP. She inspires and encourages them, trough workshops or individual sessions, to see their inner qualities, to gain self-esteem, breaking some inoculated patterns, to be able to explore their possibilities.
